Hello natural beauties I hope you’re all well and happy. I’ve only just recently made a few essential oil inhalers and I quite like them. I’ve given some away and have others stashed in various bags. They are great for a quick burst of essential oil healing magic.

When you get your inhalers, which you can buy from many sources including ebay, it will usually come in a few parts: the outer cover, the inhaler (which sits inside the cover), a cotton wad on which you drop your essential oilsand the screw lid to keep the cotton inside your inhaler.
I tried using 20 drops of oil but found that it was too strong, so dropped it to 15. You can re-use the cotton wad if you are topping up with the same essential oils. I think you could probably make your own inserts when you run out too.
The cotton insert
Ensure you have a clean workspace, and then just drop the essential oils onto the cotton insert.I usually place a towel down when I’m working.
MMM delicious look at the beautiful green bergamot!

GREG TREVENA Australian essential oil specialist (and grower)
Greg Trevena’s journey with Australian essential oils, started back in 1990 when the ABC (Australian Broadcasting Commission) television channel aired a documentary series called the ‘Bush Tucker Man’. This television series featured a retired Australian soldier who through the shared knowledge of Australian aboriginal people told European Australians about wild Australian plants people could use to survive in the remote and isolated ‘Australian Outback’.
So commenced a journey where Greg learned all he could about Australian native plants and their useful potential.
He started ‘Rainforest Foods’ in 1998, which then introduced him to Lemon Myrtle essential oil (now an approved essential oil in food flavoring). Greg started ‘Refreshed Lemon Myrtle’ in 2000, this brand became established in Australia and then in the USA. Greg sold both brands by late 2009. In 2012 he started ‘Essentially Australia’ a company which has developed the largest range of Australian essential oils in the world.
The most important part of this business, however, is the new Australian essential oil-bearing plants he has rediscovered and which he grows in his own plantation, just out of Byron Bay, an iconic coastal tourist town, which happens to be Australia’s most easterly point.

NATALIE MILLER Clinical aromatherapist, Educator and Consultant
Natalie’s aromatic journey began many years ago. During her mid 20’s she’d become interested in holistic healing when she fell into a pit of depression. She looked at aromatherapy, crystals, and meditation, but never took them seriously. Instead, she focussed on her career as an educator, gaining a Bachelor of Education and Training, and a Graduate Diploma of Education. In her early 40’s, after falling into another depression pit, she came across two books which changed her view of the world – “You Sexy Mother” (by Jodie Hedley-Ward) and “Like Chocolate for Women” (by Kim Morrison and Fleur Whelligan).
Inspired by these books, Natalie decided to write a “Living Life List” aka a bucket list. One of the many things on the list was to learn aromatherapy. Armed with this inspiration, she enrolled in a two-year Diploma of Aromatherapy course (nothing like jumping in the deep end). At the successful completion of her course, she started her business, combining her past experiences in the adult education, training and coaching arena with her aromatherapy knowledge. Aromatic Insights was born.

Hello natural beauties! Do you ever wonder if a particular essential oil will blend with another essential oil? I feel you’re already really great at creating essential oil blends, because you’ve picked up so much information and hints and tips along the way. However, here’s a little video I did to show you how to create a bouquet of scent … and as I type the word “bouquet” a few times I realise what a quaint old-fashioned word it is. I’m reclaiming it as cool!
When a perfumer creates a perfume she will use scent strips to create her bouquet. But as you may not have them, use my little method to try out your blend as you are in the midst of creating. Here’s a pic from a perfume workshop I recently led. The attendees have their scent strips to put together in a type of bouquet. Then they can decide what combinations they like.

So if you don’t have these scent strips just grab all your bottles and waft away …
What combinations have you recently created?

Hello natural beauties! I’m feeling very relaxed right now as I’ve just spent 3 days with Dr Brian Weiss, participating in a past life regression workshop called “Many Lives, Many Masters”. This is also the title of his best-selling book and is a great read if you’re interested in past lives. I thought it might be a good idea to share some of my favourite soothing calming blends for relaxation, meditation and opening your intuition by looking within.
In a traditional oil burner with a candle or a diffuser add 15 – 25 drops of oil
(depending on what type of diffuser you have and how it operates)
Diffusing essential oils in a room or any kind of space will help reduce bacteria, energetically cleanse the area and purify the energy of all who are in it, help you relax as the molecules pass through your nose into parts of your brain and basically allow you to feel absolutely lovely.
